Mr Kirk is the Chairman of Trade Me Group Ltd, NZ Rugby Players Association, and Foodshare, the co‐founder and Managing Partner of Bailador Investment Management, and sits on the Board of Bailador portfolio companies. He is also a Director of Forsyth Barr Group Ltd, Sydney Medical School Foundation and Chairman of Trustees of Sydney Grammar School.
Mr Kirk’s Executive Management career has seen him as the Chief Executive Officer of Fairfax Media, as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director PMP Limited, the Regional President (Australasia) for Norske Skog, and he has also worked for Fletcher Challenge Paper and Fletcher Challenge Energy in Senior Executive roles in New Zealand and Australia. He was Chief Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1992 to 1994 and was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in London.
Chief Executive Officer
Joined Kathmandu in June 2015 with over 20 years international experience in building brands and developing successful retail businesses in fashion, apparel, accessories and related products.
Prior roles include CEO of Radley (London), VP & GM International of DB Apparel, 11 years with LVMH (primarily Asia-Pacific) and International Director of Seafolly.
Mr Harvey is a professional Director with a background in accounting and professional services. Mr Harvey has over 35 years professional experience, including 23 years as a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he also held a number of leadership and governance roles.
Mr Harvey has extensive experience in ﬁnancial reporting, governance, information systems and processes, business evaluation, acquisition and merger and takeover reviews.
Mr Harvey is currently Chairman of NZ Opera and a non-Executive Director of DNZ Property Fund, Heartland Building Society, Port Otago, and Balance Agri-Nutrients Limited.
Mr Holland is a partner in the national New Zealand law ﬁrm Chapman Tripp and specialises in general corporate and commercial law. Mr Holland was a Board member of Chapman Tripp for six years until 31 March 2009. Mr Holland’s securities law experience includes acting on initial public offerings, advising on employee share schemes and in the private equity area. Mr Holland is an accredited Director of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and was previously a member of the Securities Commission of New Zealand.
Ms McPhee is a professional Director with an executive career background in sales and marketing including 10 years with Qantas Airways. Ms McPhee also served as Chief Executive Ofﬁcer of the Ansett/Traveland group which comprised a network of 250 retail travel and franchise stores.
Ms McPhee is currently a non-executive Director of Fairfax Media and AGL Energy, Deputy Chairman of St Vincent’s and Mater Health. She is also a member of the Advisory Council of JP Morgan.
Previous non-Executive roles include Coles Group, Australia Post, Perpetual, Primelife, Tourism Australia and South Australia Water.
Ms Cross has extensive experience in the international retail and consumer goods sector. She was Director with Tesco plc on their Operating Board between 1989-2003, heading the companies Own Brand development team for 5 years and moving to Commercial Director Non Food before establishing their Global Sourcing function. She has also served with the Boards of Empire Canada plc, Fairmont Hotel Group Canada plc and Taylor Wimpey plc and Woolworths
Ms Cross currently runs a retail advisory consultancy focusing on international best practice in customer led business planning and value chain management. She is also on the advisory board of Apax Partners Venture Capital & Private Equity and Warburg Pincus Private Equity. In addition, Ms Cross has Non-Executive Directorships with Sonae Group plc, Plantasjen. Brambles, and Fenwick.
